UNEXPECTED PLANS

"First and for most, I would like to make an apology to my viewers due to not posting much on this blog and I'll try to make it up to you guys by posting at least once or twice a week."

Funny that I have entitled this as UNEXPECTED PLANS because this really was unexpected. This thing happened last November 29, 2012. The reason why this happened is because me and my fellow Mr. Pogi Fanatic admins(Me representing @weareBAMsters, Nics who represents @iamKELVINatics, and Aubrey who represents @mrpogifanatics) had a surprise for Kelvin Engles; it was a simple fan-made shirt that we've agreed to give to him that says "Keep Calm and Love Kelvin Engles". We also had a piece of the shirt for ourselves(Haha souvenir!). The initial plan was, we're supposed to go to Broadway Centrum last Nov. 30, 2012 to give the shirt but since Kelvin's unsure if he's going to be present that day on Eat Bulaga that's why we've decided to go to the event below.

I've read about this event few days before(the admins of @iamKELVINatics told me about this event) and I couldn't get any happier because Kelvin Engles will be there(well, since he was a model before he joined Mr. Pogi). I was accompanied by of course my fellow admins Nics, Aubrey, and Jezlaine. It was really an exciting event for me and Aubrey because it was our first time to meet Kelvin in-person. 
On that day, I couldn't get any more ecstatic to get out of the office. Nics and Aubrey had their schooling and Jez was at the province before they went to Glorietta. I was the one who arrived late because I went off the office around 5:30 and our calltime was 5pm(Haha late as usual).
During the event, there were a lot of models and big stars from the fashion and TV industry. The purpose of the event was to break the Guiness World record for the Most number of people modelling on the catwalk.

Maybe the funniest thing that we did that night was being paparazzi for Kelvin. That was the first time that we did such a thing. We were like following Kelvin all over Glorietta which feels kinda awkward at first but we got the hang of it especially when we captured those shots(see above photo), simply breath-taking.

#TeamGloriettaVibe
My fellow admins(above photo), #TeamGloriettaVibe is how we call ourselves. It's funny how Twitter or any other social networking sites connect people who have never even met in-person to be friends just because they share or like the same ideas/topics. Well, I have to say that our ideas and experiences about Mr. Pogi or even non-Mr. Pogi made us to even have a closer ties together. This was also very shocking to myself since I'm not usually an outgoing person and not to much open to new friendship circles but with Mr. Pogi, that habit has changed. Now I love mingling around on Twitter and even on Facebook and I've met lots of great and trusting people just like them.

Unexpected Mr. Pogi

Well, that night just got even more exciting with the arrival of these 2 Mr. Pogi; Bonz Militar and John Paul Duray. We saw them when we were waiting for Kelvin after his done modelling. We were definitely shock yet delighted when we saw them. It's like hitting 3 birds with one stone.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

I call this one a successful mission for we happened to gave Kelvin the shirt that we got for him(He's gonna have a photo wearing that shirt on Valentines Day). For the next statements I'm gonna write, let me express my thoughts in my own language: "Grabe, hindi ko kinaya nung nakita ko si Kelvin ng personal for the first time. Ang pogi pogi nya tas magalang pa haha. Actually nagpapanic ako nung nakita ko siya, ung emosyon ko nung nakita sila Bonz at JP ay mas lalong lumala nung nakita ko si Kelvs haha. Sabi ko pa nga ata kay Aubrey nun: Pwedeng pakisampal ako? Haha gravecious lang talaga. Kilig na kilig kami ni Aubrey kasi unang pagkakataon lang namin siya nakita kaya super saya namin. Syempre memorable ung gabing un as in. Diretcho kaya ako sa laptop nung paguwi ko para iupload ung pics haha. AKO NANG ADIK SA KANILA haha".

How I wish that the night would never end that day because of what happened to us. Probably one of the best memories that 2012 gave to us. I mean you can't see all your idols everywhere except when you watch TV you know. Well, it has been 2 months since I saw them and I've been wanting to go to Broadway Centrum. Maybe one of these days, I can go and meet them again, hopefully this summer of before those times. I really hope they still remember me. HAHA XD

The dancing heartthrob of Caloocan City, Roehl is actually my first bet Mr. Pogi before Bonz Militar and Kelvin Engles. I happened to watch his first appearance on Eat Bulaga where he danced TURN UP THE MUSIC by Chris Brown. Like he's so amazing and such a great dancer which I think where he excels the most. I was saddened however when he did not made it during the semi-finals but was relieved when he returned as wildcard together with Bryann Carlo Jaofrancia and Manuel Pablo Tonido where they all won on a triple-tie.

Roehl do the WIGGLE

The "WIGGLE" word was recently on some post by his fans. I think this was associated to him when they dance I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT on an episode of Eat Bulaga specifically before D'Kilabots Mr. Pogi Weh?. As always, I was amaze on his dancing prowess(You can't always see such good-looking guys who dances very well these days). But of course, all the members of the Mr. Pogi HUNKS are such great dancers.

Probably the hottest member of the Mr. Pogi HUNKS, Kelvin never ceased to make his fans feel the "kilig" in every performance his in. At first, I didn't notice how handsome he is during the competition(since it was only during the grand finals week that I saw him on Eat Bulaga) but as time goes on, I was carried away and made myself not only as a BAMster but a KELVINatic as well. He first showcased his talent for singing(he's so sexy when he sung THIS LOVE by Maroon5) but also showcased his dancing abilities after the competition. My most liked performance from Kelvin was when they danced I'M ALL YOURS by Jay Sean together with Mr. Pogi HUNKS Roehl Mendoza and Akeem Aldover before the start of the D'Kilabots Mr. Pogi Weh?.

What's not to like about KELVIN?

Seriously I haven't got any idea how someone could not like him. His got the looks, the talent, the charisma, those killer eyes, a smile that could make someone feel the butterflies, and that approachable attitude towards his fans. He's just perfect.

The Edward Cullen of the BAMsters(fans group), Bonz is such a prince charming in the making. I happened to remember the first time I saw him on Eat Bulaga, I was like "O pwede! Pogi! Crush ko na to! Hahahha". I mean come on, he's so handsome and a very good singer as well(really love the song WHERE EVER YOU WILL GO when he sung it during the pre-judging). He was indeed on my top 3 Pogis that I think would make a placement during the Grand Finals(the other 2 was Kelvin Engles and Rommel Galido) but sadly, they did not gain any. But that's OK, I really love that Eat Bulaga made all the Mr. Pogi appear on the show even after the Grand Finals.

Haha, I happened to the agree with Paolo Ballesteros when he first mentioned "Kilig to the Bonz" on a Friday episode of Eat Bulaga. It does suits Bonz a lot because he brings "Kilig" to all BAMsters especially during his every performance on the show may it be if he's singing or dancing.

Mr. Pogi 2012? It's more FUN in the Philippines

Eat Bulaga, the Philippines' longest running noontime show launch its search for the country's next TV Heartthrobs last June of 2012. The search aims to discover talented and handsome guys that will eventually bring "KILIG" to all televiewers. A new twist in the segment let the guys showcase not only their talent but their acting prowess as well plus the fact that they would have to think of a look-alike artist which soon rise to the phrase: "Gulat kayo no? Kala niyo si Robert Pattinson 'tong nasa harap niyo no? Nagkakamali kayo!".

The search lasted about 4 months and had its search not only from the Metro or Luzon but also in Visayas and Mindanao. The search ended last September 5, 2012, having Frederick Lim II and Marcus Paolo Reyes as grand finalists coming from the province of Zamboanga. Initially, there were only 13 Mr. Pogi grand finalists but the wild card edition soon aired the next day with Roehl Mendoza, Bryann Jaofrancia, and Manuel Pablo Tonido winning in a triple tie. 

The official Grand Finalists was then introduced last September 7, 2012:
